Well she uses a Doppler to hear the heartbeat and not only was the heartbeat really strong that kid was kicking flipping and squirming like crazy. But the last 45 days I havent felt anything.
Its not like at 6 or 7 months when the kicking wakes me up in the night.
17 weeks pregnant felt movement now nothing. At 17 weeks the baby is small enough to move into a position where you cant feel them at all. I felt movement very early with both dc but knew that in those days of early movements it was normal to have periods where they moved into a corner and hid for a bit. As such it is entirely normal for a 17-week-pregnant woman to feel little or no fetal movement.
The expectant mother does not need to be concerned about her unborn childs health unless she continues to perceive little or no fetal movement after the 25th week of gestation. I know 17 weeks is early and I wasnt feeling much anyway but at night had been feeling the occasional wriggle most nights for a week or so. Week 17 was very active at the beginning and then nothing for rest of the week or this week week 18. I finally sat up in bed last night and gave my tummy a little prod with my fingertips not too hard - just a little bit and then it kicked back oncephew. Ive been so busy with work in the past week.
Baby still has a LOT of room at 17 weeks so you may not feel regular movements for a few weeks yet especially if its just flutters your feeling now. Baby can turn around so its back is to your front and it will still have a lot of room in there to hide. I am also about 15 weeks pregnant with dc4 and have been able to feel movement for a few weeks.

Im 17 weeks pregnant with my second baby I started feeling movements about 10 weeks. Didnt think it was baby at first of all but it def was. But the last 45 days I havent felt anything.
Has anyone else had this I know 17 weeks is fairly early to feel a baby anyhow but it seems weird that its all stopped now. Im trying not to worry. I am 19 weeks and felt some movement on and off during the day from 18 to 185 weeks now nothing for 3 days at my OB appointment on Friday my doctor told me not to worry and daily movement stopping abruptly wont be concerning until earliest 28 weeks and even then its common to have a calm baby for a day or two.
If it really is getting to you ask. I am 18 weeks at around 1617 I felt alot of flutters and movement now im 1819 weeks I dont feel as much although as im typing this I can feel movement. Typical lol I dont feel it as much as I did I think like others have said this is normal I also brought a doppler and dont advise to get one it makes you worry more.
I found it hard finding a heart beat and when I did. I felt baby move like once then the next day nothing. The next day baby moved like before and then yesterday went back to nothing and I havent felt anything today.
I did tell my OH about it and he wanted to take me to the doctor but I knew they wouldnt do anything because baby is still small and movements are still irregular. Its scary The only thing I can think of is. Had and appointment with my OB today and she was surprised I didnt feel anything yet at 17 weeks.

I had my midwife last week and the first question she asked me was any signs of movement. Is there a chance I am feeling it and just dont realise. I am new to this Forum - so hi everyone.

I dont think you should start feeling the baby regularly until 26 weeks or later. How the baby is lying can effect how much you can feel him so the baby probably just changed positions. 17 weeks is still quite early to feel regular movements chickadee but if youre worried its stressing you out then call your midwife express your concerns.
Request a quickie appointment just for a doppler scan. Hearing that heartbeat can be so reassuring it sounds like you need that right now to settle your mind. Im sure theyll be supportive.
Try not to worry Im. If you dont feel your baby moving by 22 or 23 weeks call your doctor. A quick fetal heart check using your doctors Doppler will be reassuring.
